Cotswold Living have been dealing in the finest solid hardwood furniture for the home for over 10 years. We firmly believe in providing solid wood furniture of the highest calibre directly to the public, delivering fantastic furniture at affordable prices.
We began importing hardwood furniture in 1998, mainly from India. Since then, we have expanded rapidly to source a huge range of contemporary and traditional solid hardwood furniture from around the globe.
Not content with simply relying on others to source the very best solid hardwood furniture for our customers, we have our very own production factory in southern Malaysia. As a result, we are able to design, develop and import our own exclusive products with the sole intention of bringing superior wooden furniture directly to our customers.

FAQs
Where is your wooden furniture imported from?
Mainly China, India and Malaysia but we do source from factories all over the world. We insist on meeting all of our suppliers personally, and their factories have all passed a rigorous audit to ensure their quality of care is applied to both the furniture and their workforce.
Is the wood from sustainable sources?
We try our best to ensure that all of our solid hardwood furniture is environmentally sound. Our manufacturers are under strict instruction only to buy from managed plantations, and we carry out our own checks regularly. Where possible, we choose fast-growing hardwoods such as Kembang Semangkok to preserve the natural balance of woods in the region.
Is Child labour involved?
Absolutely not. We adhere to all child labour laws, and would withdraw our business from any factory found to be breaking them.
How is the furniture made?
Nearly all of our furniture is hand-crafted. The Chinese and Malaysian factories have mechanised rapidly, adapting to Western factory standards very quickly but maintain a large element of hand finishing. All the wood used in our solid hardwood furniture has been kiln dried to a moisture content of around 8%. This greatly reduces the risk of any movement during the life of the piece.
Do you deliver?
We are happy to deliver directly to you. Unlike other suppliers, our delivery charges are added separately to the cost of the furniture: we don’t cover up delivery charges, nor do we make a profit from them. Our delivery charges start from as little as £20. We are able to ship to both domestic and international addresses: please contact the relevant store for an accurate delivery price.
